Brand New – The White Bike

ImpAct Theatre are to stage a brand new play – The White Bike – in association with Bournemouth Borough Council’s THINK BIKE! campaign.

ImpAct Theatre is bringing a new play, The White Bike, to two Dorset venues in April 2019. The production will be the amateur premiere of this work and is staged in association with Bournemouth Borough Council’s THINK BIKE! campaign.

The White Bike is a creative and imaginative play about how an ordinary cycle ride to work can have extraordinary consequences. Written by Tamara von Werthern and inspired by a true event, this beautifully constructed and thought provoking piece takes us on a journey showing us what happens on an ordinary day when our world is turned upside down.

ImpAct Theatre feels very privileged to be working with Tamara on this production and Patricia Richardson, the play’s director says, “The White Bike is an utterly unique and deeply affecting play and we feel very honoured to have its writer, Tamara von Werthern, involved with this production and are delighted to be staging this work in association with Bournemouth Borough Council’s very important campaign.

Richard Pearson, Bournemouth Council’s Highway Design and Road Safety Officer said ‘We are delighted to be working with ImpAct Theatre to help highlight the topic of cycle safety.’
