MILTON MUSICAL SOCIETY are excited to announce their next two theatrical productions

3 June 2020 update: Please note that these arrangements were pre-lockdown, so may be subject to change. For any enquiries, please contact the company directly.

In NOVEMBER 2020 Milton Musical Society will be staging DO YOU WANNA DANCE? at the Forest Arts Centre.

This is a musical comedy about the arrival of 1960s pop music, in the shape of early rock and roll, to an imaginary town where the nightlife is sadly lacking…

Music from Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Beatles, Helen Shapiro, Chuck Berry and Little Eva to name but a few…

APRIL 2021 will see Milton Musical Society staging CHESS at the Regent Centre; this highly acclaimed musical from Tim Rice, Benny Andersson & Bjorn Ulvaeus of ABBA fame, develops the ancient and distinguished game of chess into a metaphor for romantic rivalries and East-West political intrigue. The principal pawns form a love triangle: the loutish American Grandmaster, the earnest Russian champion and the British-Hungarian female chess second, who arrives at the international championships with the American, but falls for the Russian. From The Italian Sud-Tyrol to exotic Bangkok the players, lovers, wives, politicians, CIA and KGB make their moves to the pulse of this monumental rock score. Several numbers, including ‘One Night In Bangkok’ and ‘I Know Him So Well’, are international hits.

Auditions for these shows will be announced in due course, so keep an eye on their website  and Facebook page
