Chesil Theatre presents Dracula
28 March – 4 April 2020
At the close of the nineteenth century, a freak storm in Whitby brings more than bad weather. Count Dracula has arrived to sate his lust for blood. From the remote Yorkshire coast to the crowded streets of London, the struggle to stop his vampiric reign has begun. This modern adaption by renowned poet and playwright Liz Lochhead stays unnervingly close to Bram Stoker’s original gothic tale. A stunning version of this classic tale packed with theatricality and energy.
Contains strong language and adult themes.
