Redlynch Players – COVID-19 Update

We have taken the inevitable step of cancelling all rehearsals and meetings of Redlynch Players until the end of May 2020, at the earliest.

We have also taken the step of postponing our Spring 2020 production – Let It Be Me, scheduled for 21 – 23 May 2020 until the Autumn 2020. More details on this will follow shortly.

We pride ourselves on the safety and well-being of our audiences and members and hope everyone will understand why we have taken these steps which is in light of continued clear Government guidance.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal supporters, followers and fantastic members for their support and can reassure all our supporters we will be back in the autumn!

We hope everyone keeps safe and well over the coming months.

Let It Be Me

We are thrilled to announce that Redlynch Players’ Spring 2020 production will be Let It Be Me by Carey Jane Hardy.

Let It Be Me is a change in direction from Redlynch Players’ recent productions. This strong, intimate play is directed by Lloyd Perry and brings together the themes of ageing, love and loyalty to the stage.

Amy cares for her Aunt Sylvia who has Alzheimer’s. Amy is loyally devoted to her aunt so finds herself seriously tested when she meets and falls in love with Gregory. With her friends for support, and with Gregory’s understanding and tact, what will the future hold for Amy?

Redlynch Players will be performing Let It Be Me on Thursday 21, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 May at Redlynch Village Hall. Tickets will be on sale from Monday 20 April.
