Broadstone Players ever popular Plays n Chips production is not far away! Audiences sit around tables, watch three one-act plays, enjoy a hot supper in the first interval and a raffle in the second interval. This Broadstone tradition has now been going for well over 30 years. This year’s dates are Friday 4th, Saturday 5th, Friday 11th and Saturday 12th September at 7.30pm. All Saints’ Dramatic Society presents Two By Jim Cartwright A bickering husband and wife and the dozen regulars who pass through their pub in an evening. Each vignette skilfully combines pathos and humour. When a little girl is left behind by her father, a fragile reconciliation occurs as their own dark tragedy is revealed. While the play is usually performed by two, many productions, such as ASDS’s will feature a variety of talented members bringing the pub to life.
