CoVID-19 Update from Lighthouse, Poole

First, and most importantly, all of us at Lighthouse hope this message finds you and your loved ones well. The health and wellbeing of our staff, our audiences and our community are our first priority.

Lighthouse will be closed from 5.30pm on Tuesday 17 March until Tuesday 14 April

After the announcement from the Government that social distancing is now required and that people should avoid public buildings including theatres, we have taken the very difficult decision that we must be socially responsible and close Lighthouse for all public events for a period of time. From 5.30pm today there will be no performances including cinema screenings until Tuesday 14 April. As there is no clear guidance from Public Health England or the Government about specific time frames, we will take advice during this time as to whether a further period of closure will be required.

During this time, we are working with our artists, promoters and event organisers to reschedule events wherever possible.

Please be reassured that ticket holders will be contacted directly, and we ask that customers do not call or email Lighthouse until further information is given.

This is a very difficult time for everyone. Lighthouse is a charity and most of our funding comes from people like you coming to see our shows, spending money on tickets, drinks and refreshments. Please consider donating the cost of your ticket rather than requesting a credit or refund.

Whilst we continue to follow Government advice, please stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you back to Lighthouse very soon.

As the situation changes and we have further updates, we will keep you informed via our website, Twitter, Facebook, and local media.
