Unbroken Bonds - A Woman's War
Written by Katy Nutt
Directed by Robert Rankin
Scaplens Community Players’ next play, Unbroken Bonds – A Woman's War, is set against the backdrop of a war-torn country and explores the lives of ordinary people who lived in the local area in WW2, during a time of great upheaval and change. What impact did it have on their lives and what was the human cost of the conflict? It tells real stories of people who lived here at that time, leading up to D-Day.
Join Scaplens Community Players as they step back into the 1940s, and experience their local history through songs, true stories and their new play Unbroken Bonds – A Woman's War.
To fully immerse yourself and get ‘In The Mood’, why not don your 1940s garb? A prize is on offer for the best outfit, so don’t be shy. Have your photo taken with the cast!
