This theatre production is a collaboration between the following courses at Arts University Bournemouth:
BA (Hons): Acting, Costume, Make Up for Media and Performance & Performance Design & Film Costume
This production will be performed with alternate casts, one in period dress, the other in contemporary costume. And all set in Venice where classic design transcends the ages. Why now come twice?
Anzoletto has bought an apartment to impress his new wife, Cecilia, who has very particular and demanding tastes. Combined with other problems regarding relatives, workmen, bailiffs and a pair of young lovers, there is confusion, intrigue and exorbitant costs. How will his marriage survive? Find out in this hilarious play, penned by the Italian master of farce, Carlo Goldoni.
