Their Sixth Season of Plays at Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne

London Repertory Players are thrilled to announce they have been invited back to the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne, following their successful production of Deathtrap there last summer. This year they will stage 5 plays in 5 weeks at this wonderful theatre and do hope that you can support them, and invite you to put the dates in your diary:

Wednesday 27 – Saturday 30 July at 7.30pm; Saturday matinee at 2.30pm

Taking Steps by Alan Ayckbourn

“A riotously funny farce” – The Guardian

Roland, a hard drinking tycoon, is considering buying an old Victorian house, once a brothel. His solicitor and the vendor, a builder, arrive to complete the deal. Also in the house are his wife, a frustrated dancer, her brother and the brother’s fiancée, who is uncertain whether or not to run away.

Wednesday 3 – Saturday 6 August at 7.30pm; Saturday matinee at 2.30pm

The Small Hours by Francis Durbridge

“Well-crafted…dramatic climaxes…a very good evening’s theatre” – The Birmingham Post

What do a Koala bear, a devious chef, and an emerald necklace have in common? This thriller of international intrigue bears all the Durbridge hallmarks of suspense, mystery and murder.

Wednesday 10 – Saturday 13 August at 7.30pm; Saturday matinee at 2.30pm

Fallen Angels by Noel Coward

“Coward at his inimitable best – the most successful purveyor of high comedy” – Samuel French Inc.

A frothy comedy of manners!

Wednesday 17 – Saturday 20 August at 7.30pm; Saturday matinee at 2.30pm

I Have Been Here Before by J.B. Priestley

A great ‘Time’ play from the author of An Inspector Calls

Tuesday 23 – Thursday 25 August at 7.30pm; Thursday matinee at 2.30pm

Abigail’s Party by Mike Leigh
